It's Time to Fill Out Your Survey!
Last Thursday, members and friends of 1st U should have received a special email titled "Important Message from the Ministerial Search Committee (MSC)."That email contained instructions and a link to the Congregational Survey.The Survey's results are the major source for preparing the Congregational Record-the chief document through which prospective ministers learn about our church, as well as the attributes we seek in our next minister. Please recheck your In-box, and if for any reason you did not receive the special email, see any MSC member or contact us at SearchCommittee@lay.
Completing the Survey online enables us to tabulate the results more easily. But if you require a paper copy, you may pick one up from the table outside the Church office, just off of Unity Hall. The Survey takes about 40 minutes. All Surveys need to be completed by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, October 7.
If you participated in a Listening Session, we thank you for your input. We are processing what we learned, and soon we will share the results with you.Listening Sessions complement the Survey, but they cannot take its place.The Survey is a crucial opportunity for everyone to tell us their hopes and concerns as we prepare to call our new settled minister. Please respond to the Survey!
